Doodle was Linda’s first Border Collie and first agility dog. Chances are that you never knew Doodle, but in the early days of dog agility she was very well known across the USA. At the time she was one of the fastest dogs competing. With Doodle, Linda became one of the first USA handlers to become skillful at freestyle and distance handling. If asked, many would say that Nifty was responsible for Linda’s success in dog agility. Linda will tell you that she has Doodle to thank because the two of them learned together through trial and error, and working through problems with Doodle taught her what it took to be successful as a trainer and handler in the sport. All of Linda’s dogs and students have benefited in some way because of Doodle. Doodle truly was the first of Linda’s dogs to run with awesome paws.
