This is a handling course based on the material presented in Ch 6 Developing Handling Skills. My goal is to help students learn to balance cues appropriately for their individual dogs. Specifics of the timing and techniques required for each cue combination will be covered. This will be an 8 – 10 week course. This course should benefit both individual students as well as instructors.Access to the Board, but does not post videos, questions or comments Unlimited.
This course will be based on the foundation chapters in Developing Jumping Skills. My goal is to show students how I envision these should be done and why. I hope to offer suggestions on how students can improve their technique as well as understanding of what DJS is trying to accomplish. I will include modifications that I’ve made to the drills since some of the jumping challenges our dogs face have changed since 2005.
