Nifty was one of the first Border
Collies in agility to run with both speed and accuracy. Her
smooth, efficient way of negotiating a course was often
deceptively fast. Nifty was one of the greatest agility dogs of
her era. She represented the USA in international competition on
four different World Teams (twice for USDAA and twice for AKC).
During a period in agility history when clean runs were not
commonplace, Nifty demonstrated incredible consistency and was
highly regarded as a "team" dog. She was a member of
the USDAA National Championship Dog Agility Masters Team
Tournament winning team on two occasions with multiple wins at
the Regional level. She was a finalist in the USDAA Grand Prix
World Championships an amazing nine times in her ten-year
career. She won the USDAA Veterans Grand Prix in 2000.
Together, Nifty and Linda inspired an entire generation of
agility teams. Their grace and beauty together on course will
remain in the memories of all who had the pleasure to watch them
on the course. |
